London florists Rebel Rebel and Funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk have come together to create the Ultimate Kindness Bouquet. You can order the bouquet for £35 to be delivered within London, for this weekend only.
However, if you live outside London don’t let that stop you sending a little floral kindness to friends and family. Mairead Curtin Co-Founder of Rebel Rebel has shared her top tips with Ideal Home on how to recreate the Ultimate Kindness Bouquet yourself.
How to make a bouquet for a friend
‘For this bouquet, all the flowers included have been selected for their symbolic link to kindness, but are also all in season and currently available to purchase throughout the UK.’
Florists are currently unable to open during the new lockdown rules, however many are still able to carry out deliveries. So armed with a list of flower you can put in a call to your local florist to create your own kindness bouquet.
Each flower in the bouquet was chosen to represent different aspect of kindness. Yellow roses signify friendship and caring, soft phlox flowers in fuchsia pink represented harmony during a difficult time.
The deep burgundy anemones symbolise protection, while the purple clematis flowers convey beauty and admiration. Finally, the mimosa flowers hold the most important message of all – to stay safe.

When creating your own kindness bouquet Mairead recommends adding something personal.
‘Creating your own gives you the chance to add a personal note to the bouquet by choosing another beautiful seasonal flower that you know your friend or relative loves,’ she explains. ‘Such as nerines which signify good fortune. Or perhaps they would prefer a more muted colour palette to bright and bold. So swap the plum anemones for blush, and the pink, yellow or orange ranunculus for white.’
